Ms. Baitseng Rangata, an admitted Attorney of the High Court, brings over 24 years of distinguished legal practice to the table. Her illustrious career includes a remarkable 20-year tenure at Maponya Attorneys, where she held pivotal roles, including CEO and later Co-Chairperson. In November 2021, she founded BR Rangata Attorneys, a law firm registered with the Legal Practice Council, with offices in Montana, Pretoria.

Ms. Rangata is not only a seasoned legal professional but also a dedicated community advocate. She currently serves as a member of the Gauteng Provincial Council and is a respected member of the Black Lawyers Association and the South African Women Lawyers Association. Her commitment to social justice extends beyond the courtroom, as she collaborates with several NPOs to champion the rights of marginalised communities. She is particularly passionate about educating women on critical issues such as Customary marriages and Wills.

Throughout her career, Ms. Rangata has served prestigious institutions like SARS, ESKOM, and the University of Mpumalanga. She has chaired disciplinary hearings for ESKOM and Boards of Inquiry for institutions like the Railway Safety Regulator. Her notable contributions include her work at the State Capture Commission, where she worked closely with the Chairperson of the Commission.

Driven by the principles of Ubuntu, Ms. Rangata is committed to improving the lives of those in her community. She has trained over 50 Candidate Attorneys and continues to mentor university students, particularly third and fourth-year law students.
